(a) The provisions of this subchapter in relation to suits on official bonds shall apply as well to suits on bonds of administrators, executors, guardians, and others required by law to give bond, with condition for the performance of any duty or trust, as to suits on bonds of officers. (b) The persons aggrieved may prosecute suits in the same manner, with like effect, and subject in all respects to the provisions contained in this subchapter, in respect to suits on official bonds.
