No inspector or deputy, while in office, shall: (1) Be interested, directly or indirectly, in the manufacture or sale of any of the oils or gasoline specified in this subchapter; or (2) For the purpose of inspection, testing, or gauging the same, take away or appropriate for his or her own use, or for the use of others, any part or portion of the oils or fluids.
