(a) The clerk shall be entitled to and receive from the county a fee of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) for his or her services in receiving each application, issuing the license based thereon, and recording the application and license. (b) The sheriff shall be entitled to and receive from the county five percent (5%) of each license fee collected. Acts 1943, No. 86, § 9; A.S.A. 1947, § 52-809.
