Elimination of double-crested cormorants

The double-crested cormorant is hereby declared a nuisance and the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission is requested to work with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the Arkansas congressional delegation to permit bona fide fish farmers and other owners of private lakes in Arkansas to eliminate depredating double-crested cormorants under such terms as may be agreed upon by the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. Acts 1993, No. 575, § 1.
