Deer hunting camp on highways prohibited

(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to set up and maintain a deer hunting camp on any state highway in this state other than at designated overnight public camping sites located on highway rights-of-way by the State Highway Commission. (b) Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a violation and upon conviction shall be fined in an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Each day during which a deer hunting campsite is maintained in violation of this section shall constitute a separate offense. Acts 1977, No. 405, §§ 1, 2; A.S.A. 1947, §§ 76-562, 76-563.
