Definitions

As used in this subchapter: (1) "Owner" means any person, partnership, corporation, unincorporated association, or other legal entity having any interest in any: (A) Timber; (B) Land upon which timber grows; or (C) Land from which timber has been removed; (2) "Secondary purchaser" means any person, partnership, corporation, unincorporated association, or other legal entity buying timber from a timber purchaser; and (3) "Timber purchaser" means a person who purchases standing timber for harvest.
