(a) Every person rafting logs on any of the rivers of this state shall have the marks thereon on the upper side of every log when rafted, open to view and inspection to all persons interested. (b) Every person violating this section shall forfeit one dollar ($1.00) for each log, the mark of which shall not be so exposed: (1) One-half (1/2) to the use of the person prosecuting therefor; (2) One-fourth (1/4) to the state; and (3) The other one-fourth (1/4) to the prosecuting attorney.
