(a) All moneys received from the sale of logs, timber, lumber, shingles, minerals, or other articles from public lands that were seized under this subchapter and all moneys recovered in legal proceedings under this subchapter for damages done to public lands, after paying the county timber inspectors, prosecuting attorneys, and witnesses as provided in § 15-32-308 , shall be deposited into the State Treasury to the credit of the respective funds that are used to administer the public lands. (b) All other moneys collected as expenses, fees, penalties, and damages for trespass on public lands shall be deposited into the General Revenue Fund Account of the State Apportionment Fund.
