The proceeds of all sales from seizure and fines under this subchapter shall be paid as follows: (1) When a county timber inspector or his or her deputy makes the seizure upon his or her own information: (A) Forty percent (40%) of the proceeds shall be paid to the county timber inspector; (B) Ten percent (10%) of the proceeds shall be paid to the prosecuting attorney; and (C) The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds shall be paid into the State Treasury; and (2) When the seizure is made on the information of someone else: (A) Twenty-five percent (25%) of the proceeds shall be paid to the county timber inspector; (B) Fifteen percent (15%) of the proceeds shall be paid to the informant; (C) Ten percent (10%) of the proceeds shall be paid to the prosecuting attorney; and (D) The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds shall be paid into the State Treasury.
