As used in this subchapter: (1) "Commission" means the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission; (2) "Director" means the Director of the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission or his or her appointed agents; and (3) "Natural area" means any real property held by the commission in fee or less than fee interest, along with all appurtenances thereto.
