Enforcement of state law - Statewide jurisdiction

A person designated as and employed as a law enforcement officer by the Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism shall: (1) Be a certified law enforcement officer under § 12-9-101 et seq.; and (2) Have statewide law enforcement jurisdiction and authority.
