Promulgation of rules and procedures

(a) The Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism is specifically authorized to promulgate its own rules and procedures applying to the purchase of printed material and specialty items for advertising purposes. The Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism will take no less than a minimum of three (3) bids in purchasing printing and specialty items. The records pertaining to the bidding procedures, bids, and contract awards will be made a part of the permanent record file of the Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism, and copies will be forwarded to the purchasing department of the Department of Finance and Administration. (b) The Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism is specifically authorized to promulgate its own rules and procedures applying to the professional services of an advertising agency. The Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism will take proposals and contract with an advertising agency with the advice of the Legislative Council.
