(a) If the Attorney General does not file pleadings as required under § 14-62-102 within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the notification under § 14-62-102 , the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee may require the Attorney General to appear before the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee in person for the purpose of explanation and questioning. (b) As provided under § 10-3-411 , the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee may issue and enforce a subpoena to the Attorney General to appear before the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee. (c) The Legislative Joint Auditing Committee may recommend measures to the Joint Budget Committee or other appropriate legislative committee to address the failure of the Attorney General to file pleadings as required under § 14-62-102 .
