Use of funds

All funds derived from assessments upon real property by a district established under the provisions of this chapter shall be funds of the district and not funds of the municipality. They shall at all times be kept separate and apart from funds of the municipality and shall be used solely for paying the cost of the contemplated improvements. However, such funds may be used to reimburse the municipality for expenses incurred in making the study and survey provided for in § 14-322-102 . Acts 1967, No. 251, § 8; A.S.A. 1947, § 20-1508.
