Surveys, etc., on private lands

(a) An authority, and its authorized agents and employees, may enter upon any lands, waters, and premises for the purposes of making such surveys, soundings, drillings, and examinations as they may deem necessary or desirable for the purposes of carrying out the authority conferred by this chapter. Such entries shall not be deemed trespasses, nor shall such entries for such purposes be deemed entries under any condemnation proceedings which may then be pending. (b) An authority shall make reimbursement to the owners for any actual damage resulting to the lands, waters, and premises as a result of such activities, and reimbursements shall be part of the project costs.
