Any person or official who intentionally violates the provisions of this chapter upon conviction shall be fined in any amount not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). In addition thereto, he or she may be removed from his or her office or position of employment with the county. Acts 1965 (1st Ex. Sess.), No. 52, § 13; A.S.A. 1947, § 17-1613.
