Examinations and investigations - Conduct, oaths, subpoenas, etc

A housing authority shall have the power, acting through one (1) or more commissioners or other persons designated by the authority: (1) To conduct examinations and investigations and to hear testimony and take proof under oath at public or private hearings on any matter material for its information; (2) To administer oaths; (3) To issue subpoenas requiring the attendance of witnesses or the production of books and papers; and (4) To issue commissions for the examination of witnesses who are outside of this state or unable to attend before the authority or excused from attendance.
