A county, municipality, accredited institution of higher education, and state agency that is a sponsor of a research park authority may: (1) Appoint members of a research park authority; (2) Contribute to the cost of acquiring, constructing, equipping, maintaining, and operating the research park facilities and appurtenant facilities; and (3) Transfer and convey to the authority property of any kind acquired by the county, municipality, accredited institution of higher education, and state agency or the State of Arkansas for research and economic development.
