Petitions for the alteration of county boundaries shall be accompanied by the following documentation: (1) (A) A survey of the proposed boundary alterations, except where common boundaries are being dissolved. (B) The survey shall be performed by a professional surveyor as defined in § 17-48-101 ; and (2) A map drawn to scale of the area affected by the petition.
