(a) County Officers. All county officers shall be commissioned by the Governor in a manner prescribed by law. (b) (1) Quorum Court District and Township Officers. All township and county quorum court district officers, except constables, shall be commissioned by the Governor in a manner prescribed by law. (2) Constables shall be furnished with a certificate of election by the county court on which the constable's official oath shall be endorsed.
