(a) The Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training is exempt from § 19-6-109(c) for the purpose of buying uniforms for students and law enforcement officers employed by the Division of Law Enforcement Standards and Training. (b) The amount spent for the purchase of uniforms under subsection (a) of this section in any one (1) year is limited to forty thousand dollars ($40,000).
