(a) The Division of Arkansas State Police is authorized to charge a fee, not to exceed twenty dollars ($20.00), for each background investigation requested of and conducted by the division. (b) The background investigation fee shall be collected by the division and deposited into the State Treasury as special revenue to the credit of the Division of Arkansas State Police Fund.
