Officers and members - Oath

(a) Before entering upon their duties, all members and officers of the Division of Arkansas State Police shall take the oath as now provided by law for public officials. (b) The Director of the Division of Arkansas State Police shall take the additional oath that he or she will not be either directly or indirectly interested in any purchase made by or for the division. (c) Any violation of oath shall constitute perjury and upon conviction shall be punished accordingly. (d) The oath provided for in this section shall be filed in duplicate, the original filed with the division and a copy with the Secretary of the Arkansas State Police Commission.
