Commanding general of the organized militia

(a) The organized militia shall be commanded by a general officer who shall be federally recognized or qualified for federal recognition in a rank not higher than lieutenant general. (b) He or she shall be responsible for the military efficiency of the Arkansas organized militia. Acts 1969, No. 50, § 21; A.S.A. 1947, § 11-201; Acts 2007, No. 47, § 4.
