Bonds - Contract between parties - Enforcement

(a) Each authorizing resolution or trust indenture, together with this subchapter and the ordinance of the quorum court acting pursuant to this subchapter, shall constitute a contract by and between the county jail board and the holders and registered holders of the bonds issued pursuant to this subchapter. (b) The contract and all covenants, agreements, and obligations therein shall be properly performed in strict accordance with the terms and provisions thereof. (c) The covenants, agreements, and obligations of the board may be enforced by mandamus or other appropriate proceedings at law or in equity. Acts 1981, No. 879, § 9; A.S.A. 1947, § 46-437.
