Disclosure and notification concerning out-of-state sex offenders moving into Arkansas

(a) A local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction where an out-of-state sex offender is moving or has moved may make immediate disclosure of the sex offender's registration in another state before the completion of a sex offender assessment assigning a community notification risk level. (b) A local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction where an out-of-state individual is moving or has moved who has been convicted of an offense that would require registration as a sex offender in Arkansas may make immediate notification appropriate for public safety before the completion of a sex offender assessment assigning a community notification risk level.
