State Medical Examiner

(a) The Director of the State Crime Laboratory shall appoint and employ a State Medical Examiner with the approval of the State Crime Laboratory Board and in consultation with the Secretary of the Department of Public Safety. (b) The director may remove the examiner only for cause and with the approval of the board. Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 5845, eff. 7/1/2019. Acts 1991, No. 383, § 3; 2011, No. 775, § 1.
