911 addressing authority - Data maintenance

(a) A chief executive shall designate a 911 addressing authority that shall create and maintain street centerline and address point data in a geographic information system format. (b) The street centerline and address point data created under subsection (a) of this section shall: (1) Be compatible with the standard database requirements and best practices developed by the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office as part of the Arkansas Master Address Program; and (2) Be transmitted to the office by a method and with a frequency agreed upon by the office and the 911 addressing authority designated under subsection (a) of this section.
