Attendance at regional or national conferences - Reimbursement of expenses

(a) Members of the interim committees may be authorized to attend regional or national conferences of legislators or other public officials where attendance thereat will serve a beneficial legislative purpose. Members shall be entitled to receive reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses for travel, meals, lodging, and other authorized expenses incurred in connection therewith. (b) Attendance at the meetings shall be authorized by vote of the committee or in accordance with uniform rules and procedures established by the committees with the approval of the Legislative Council.
