9-924. Payment of pensions Pensions shall be paid from the fund in cases specified in this section and sections 9-925 through 9-928. It is the intention to restrict the operation of this article to situations not covered by the workers' compensation law and to prohibit payments from the fund to persons receiving, or for whose benefit there is being paid, compensation under the workers' compensation law. This limitation shall not apply to a retired member who suffers an occupational disease, or an injury or death as the result of an industrial accident arising out of employment after retirement.
