9-479. Conveyance by reference to plat; restriction; violation; classification A. No property shall be sold or described in a conveyance or other instrument by reference to any map or plat of a subdivision comprehended within the provisions of this article unless the map or plat has been prepared and filed under the provisions of this article. B. Every person who sells or offers for sale a lot or parcel of land by reference to a map or plat not prepared in accordance with the provisions of this article is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor, and every sale or offer of sale of such lot or parcel of land constitutes a separate offense.
