9-1114. Rights of lienholders No lien against the interests of a claimant shall be affected by the deed of the trustee to the claimant. The holder of a lien or certificate of sale, upon proof by affidavit of such fact, may file a statement in behalf of the claimant or contest claims in conflict with the rights of the claimant, or may intervene and support the rights of the party against whom he holds the liens, the same as such party might do himself. The money thus necessarily expended shall become a part of his claim against his debtor and a part of his lien.
