6-1223. Unauthorized activities A person may not engage in the business of money transmission on behalf of a person that is not licensed under this article or that is not exempt pursuant to section 6-1202. A person that engages in the activity in violation of this section is jointly and severally liable with the unlicensed or nonexempt person.
