5-1111. Performance audits (Conditionally Rpld.) A. Beginning in 2011 and at least every fifth year thereafter, the auditor general shall conduct or cause to be conducted a performance audit, as defined in section 41-1278, of the authority. B. On or before June 30 of the respective year, the auditor general shall issue a public report of the performance audit, including findings and specific recommendations for statutory and administrative changes to improve the operation of the authority. The auditor general shall submit copies of the report to the governor, the president of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives, the secretary of state and the Arizona state library, archives and public records. C. The authority board shall pay the costs of the performance audits prescribed by this section from the authority's general fund.
