49-811. Violation; civil penalty A. Except as otherwise provided, a person who violates any provision of this article or a rule or order adopted or issued pursuant to this article is subject to a civil penalty of not more than ten thousand dollars per day for each violation. B. The attorney general, at the request of the director, shall file an action in superior court to recover civil penalties provided by this section. This subsection shall not be construed to reduce the authority of the attorney general under any other provision of law.
