49-474.06. Dust control; subcontractor registration; fee A. In an area designated by the environmental protection agency as a serious PM-10 nonattainment area or a maintenance area that was designated as a serious PM-10 nonattainment area, a subcontractor who is engaged in dust generating operations at a site that is subject to a permit that is issued by a control officer and that requires control of PM-10 emissions from dust generating operations shall register with the control officer by submitting information in the manner prescribed by the control officer. The control officer shall issue a registration number after payment of the fee authorized under subsection C. B. The subcontractor shall have its registration number readily accessible on site while conducting any dust generating operations. C. The control officer may establish and assess a fee for the registration required under subsection A based on the total cost of processing the registration and issuance of a registration number.
