48-2638. Results of election; order changing boundaries If at the election a majority of the votes cast is against the change of the boundaries of the district the board shall order that the petition be denied, and shall proceed no further in the premises. If a majority of the votes cast is in favor of the change in the boundaries of the district, the board shall thereupon order that the boundaries be changed in accordance with the resolution adopted by the board. The order shall describe the entire boundaries of the district, as changed, and for that purpose the board may cause a survey of such portions thereof to be made as the board deems necessary.
