41-1761. Division of narcotics enforcement and criminal intelligence; agents; qualifications A. There is established a division of narcotics enforcement and criminal intelligence within the department which shall consist of a superintendent who shall be experienced in criminal intelligence and have recognized ability in the field of law enforcement, and shall hold the minimum of a bachelor's degree. B. Agents shall be appointed by the director. C. The director may employ such special agents as he may from time to time deem necessary or advisable. D. Agents of the division shall be vested with the same powers as other peace officers charged with the duty of law enforcement.
