41-1491.06. Effect on other law A. This article does not affect a reasonable local or state restriction on the maximum number of occupants permitted to occupy a dwelling or a restriction relating to health or safety standards. B. This article does not affect a requirement of nondiscrimination in any other state or federal law. C. Nothing in this article prohibits cities or towns with a population of three hundred fifty thousand or more persons according to the 1990 United States decennial census from enacting ordinances, not later than January 1, 1995, that are substantially equivalent to the provisions of federal law and this article.
