40-360.51. Definitions In this article, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. " Facilities" means corridors used by a utility to provide service to customers including poles, towers, transformers and lines for the transmission of electric energy at nominal voltages of one hundred fifteen thousand volts or more, natural gas pipelines of twenty-four or more inches in diameter and substations, regulator stations, measurement stations and compressor stations. 2. " Facility plan" means a plan for the future location of facilities developed by a utility. 3. " Municipality" means a city or town chartered or incorporated under the laws of this state. 4. " Planning area" means outside the extraterritorial jurisdiction limits of a municipality described in section 9-461.11, subsection G. 5. " Utility" means any retail provider of electric or natural gas services.
