38-251. State officers and employees blanket bond; amount; approval A. The governor shall obtain and deliver to the secretary of state a blanket bond, payable to the state, in the principal amount of one hundred thousand dollars for each state officer and employee conditioned on the faithful performance of his duties. B. All state officers and employees are bonded pursuant to this section unless otherwise provided by law. C. The attorney general shall determine the form and sufficiency of the blanket bond.
