35-328. Investment of sinking funds A. All sinking funds of this state, or a county, city, town or school district, or hospital, irrigation or drainage district organized as provided by law may be invested and reinvested by the governing body or officer in charge of the sinking funds. The investment shall be made for the best interests of the state or political subdivision described in this subsection. B. In the absence of specific direction in the bond indenture, the funds may be invested or reinvested in any of the investment securities allowed for trust funds.
