33-987. Lien for labor or materials furnished on waterways, highways, excavations or land A person who labors or furnishes labor or materials in the construction, alteration or repair of any canal, water ditch, flume, aqueduct or reservoir, bridge, fence, road, highway, cellar, excavation or other structure or improvement, or in the clearing, ditching, bordering or leveling of land, and to whom wages or monies are due or owing therefor, shall have a lien upon such property for all amounts due and unpaid. Materials includes the use of mules, horses, machinery or equipment used in or about such projects.
