32-2084. Violations; classification A. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for a person not licensed pursuant to this chapter to engage in the practice of psychology. B. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for any person to: 1. Secure a license to practice psychology pursuant to this chapter by fraud or deceit. 2. Impersonate a member of the board in order to issue a license to practice psychology. C. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for a person not licensed pursuant to this chapter to: 1. Use the designation " psychology" , " psychological" or " psychologist" . 2. Use any combination of words, initials and symbols that leads the public to believe the person is licensed to practice psychology in this state. D. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for a person not licensed or not exempt from licensure pursuant to this chapter to use the designation " psychotherapist" or other derivation of the root word " psycho" .
