31-283. Transitional housing; contracts; state licensed facilities Notwithstanding section 31-282, for one year following October 30, 2023 and on the expiration of any contract to provide transitional housing services for inmates that was entered into before October 30, 2023 and that expires after October 30, 2023, the department may enter into a contract to provide transitional housing services for inmates only with a state licensed facility.
