31-242. Internet access; violation; classification; definitions A. Except as authorized by the department, an inmate shall not have access to the internet through the use of a computer, computer system, network, communication service provider or remote computing service. B. An inmate who violates this section is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor. C. For the purposes of this section: 1. " Communication service provider" has the same meaning prescribed in section 13-3004. 2. " Computer" has the same meaning prescribed in section 13-2301, subsection E. 3. " Computer system" has the same meaning prescribed in section 13-2301, subsection E. 4. " Network" means a complex of interconnected computer or communication systems of any type. 5. " Remote computing service" has the same meaning prescribed in section 13-3004.
