3-2086. Transfer of license without fee If any person acquires a business licensed pursuant to this chapter to wholesale meat, with the goodwill of the business, and continues to operate the business in substantially the same manner, in the same location and under the same firm name, the division may transfer the license to the new owner, on written application, without payment of a license fee if the new owner submits an affidavit stating, under penalty of perjury, that the new owner will comply with the law and will not slaughter animals or sell, exchange or expose meat for sale except according to law and the rules of the director.
