28-4884. Destroyed vehicles; certificates of title A. On receipt of the written authorization, documents, license plates and information prescribed in section 28-4883, the department shall void the certificate of title to the vehicle and shall maintain a record of all vehicles destroyed pursuant to this article. B. A certificate of title shall not be issued for a vehicle destroyed pursuant to this article. C. A certificate of title voided pursuant to this section removes all liens or encumbrances, including any liens relating to titling and registration.
