28-2265. Owner-operators; permit If an owner-operator is not operating as a lessor, the owner-operator may apply for a fifteen day permit for a fee of twenty dollars for each motor vehicle or vehicle combination using a registered gross weight that does not exceed the empty weight of the vehicle. The director may extend registration reciprocity to similar registrations issued by other jurisdictions.
