27-236. Suspension of royalty rights The commissioner may, if he deems it in the interest of the state, subordinate the royalty rights of the state under this article, or suspend the operation thereof or of any lease executed under the provisions of this article, in favor of the United States or any agency thereof, for the purpose of facilitating extension of financial aid under the laws of the United States in the development or operation of any mine located upon state lands.
